Model Year 2021 or newer
Airstream Touring Coaches manufactured in 2021 and later come with deep cycle LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries installed.
With correct use, these are designed to last 3,000 – 5,000 cycles at which point the battery will still hold 75% - 80% of its energy capacity.
To preserve the highest function and life of your batteries, keep them within the recommended operating and storage temperatures.
If you’re not using your touring coach, it is recommended to fully charge your batteries and then disconnect your batteries using the touring coach’s battery disconnect switch.
Model Year 2020 and earlier
Airstream Touring Coaches manufactured in 2020 and earlier come with 12v Deep Cycle 24 AGM batteries installed.
