Airstream’s with lithium batteries can lose calibration if they are disconnected, fully discharged past the state of battery management system (BMS) protection, or if the Smart Shunt loses power.
If you lose battery calibration, you will still be able to monitor your battery voltage and current information, however, the state of charge and remaining status will not be available until the system is recalibrated.
How to Calibrate Your Lithium Battery System
To regain calibration again, fully charge your battery to 100% (14.3 volts). Once the peak voltage of 14.3 volts has been achieved, there will be a 3-minute calibration period before the state of charge is displayed.
