The Murphy Bed in the Atlas measures 73” x 73” while a common king-size mattress is 76” x 80”. The bed in the Atlas was intentionally designed so that it could be pulled down and used without requiring the slide-out to be extended.
If the Atlas is parked in an area that prevents the slide-out from being extended, owners can still enjoy the full functionality of the Murphy suite. Extending the slide-out creates space around the bed so that it can be maneuvered around.
